Thailand: Buatong "Sticky Falls" trekking

Hey there, this is Big Sis and I am going to tell y'all all about our families adventure at the Sticky Falls.

Have you even climbed up a waterfall with no problem of slipping? Most people would say "no" but we can say yes. The Sticky Falls are unique because the water came from a cave and contained minerals that changed the water's composition.  Because of this sort of chemical reaction with the water and minerals, people are able to climb up the waterfall and climb down without slipping or falling.

There were four sections to the falls. The first was at the very base of the mountain and the fourth was at the very top. We took the stairs all the way down to the first falls and started to exploring. At first, we were completely certain that we were going to fall and slide off the rocks, but we were wrong. The rocks had a funny texture, kinda like wet sand, and we where able to go straight up the falls.

All of us kids wanted to climb to the very top of the falls, so we decided to climb up first with mom while dad watched Monster and then come back down the stairs and climb back up with dad while mom watched Little Monster.

The climb was a little intense but it was super fun. It was a very hot day so it felt good to get cooled of by a natural waterfall's water.

After about 15 minutes of climbing we made it to the top and started going back down. After we got back down we switched and we got to climb the falls again with dad.

After we got back down to where mom and Monster where, we took a break from climbing and just played in the water.

It was so much fun and amazing to have a really cool and unique experience to literally walk up a waterfall without falling or slipping. If you go to Chiang Mai Thailand, you should definitely go to the Sticky Falls.
